Quintanilla was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the age of 64 years. He enjoyed fishing, football, and bowling. Paul also loved to go gambling and taking trips to the coast.

He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys Fan. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Sandoval; sister, Mitzi Martinez; and brother, George Quintanilla. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rosemary Quintanilla; children, Jose “Papa Joe” Quintanilla (Denise), Melanie M. Villarreal (Adrian); grandchildren, Priscilla, Gabriel, and Eden; great granddaughter, Olivia; father, Paul M. Quintanilla (Guadalupe); siblings, Irene Q. Flynn (Michael), Richard Quintanilla (Angel), Susanna Q. Gonzales (Andrew), Paul J. Quintanilla (Marie); Mother-in-law, Alice M. Rodriguez; and also numerous family members.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Friday, January 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th for Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
