Paul Norman Hagler, 59, of Freeman Spur, passed away February 5, 2019, at home, with his loving family by his side. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2019, at First Apostolic Church in Cambria, with Rev. R.H. Chitwood officiating.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Paul was born on August 20, 1959, in Herrin, to Robert “Bob” Hagler and Carolyn Wynn.

He married Catherine Landis on January 21, 1978, in DeSoto. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Hagler of Freeman Spur; sons, Justin Hagler of Herrin and Christopher Hagler (Nicole Campbell) of West Frankfort; daughter, Sarah (Drew) Robbins of Parker, Colorado; brother, Bruce (Linda) Hagler of Cambria; half-sister, Dora Ann (Guy) Whitecotton of Dowell; grandchildren, Hayden, Nolan, Gaven, and Josie Hagler. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cheryl (Jack) Vancil.

He worked in the heating/air conditioning maintenance field and was a “jack of all trades”. Paul loved nature and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved animals.
