Paul J. Gagnon, 84, of Kennebunk, died this past Sunday at Southern Maine Medical Center in Sanford with is family by his side. He was born in Biddeford a son of Henry and Lucienne (Brousseau) Gagnon and was educated in the Biddeford schools. Paul was a deeply religious man and believed strongly in his faith.

Not only was he a loving father and grandfather to his own family, but to many of his extended family as well. His strong love of all God created in nature and in people will be fondly remembered by many. From helping a neighbor crop his hayfields, to sharing the plenty of his garden, Paul opened his heart and home and shared his blessings as a way of life.

Paul retired from Howard Johnson Restaurants in 1996. He is survived by his wife Sandra of 19 years, two sons, Michael Buzulchuck (w. Betsy) and Steven Gagnon (w.

Marion), daughter Jan Sampson (h. Wayne), seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will have a celebration of Paul’s life on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2pm at the Masonic Lodge #22 located at 159 Alfred Road, Kennebunk Maine.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in Paul’s memory should direct their donations to either the Southern Maine Church of Christ Building Fund at P.O. Box 344, West Kennebunk, Maine or to The New School (a school dedicated to the holistic education of youth) at 38 York Street, Kennebunk Maine.
