Paul Ronald Lund, 78, of Ft Duchesne passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was born in Sandstone, Minnesota, January 9, 1941 to Albert and Ione Quigley Lund. He was the oldest of seven children.

He moved to Grand Rapids at the age of 10 and as a teenager attended an Agricultural High School. After High School he moved to St. Paul where he worked several different jobs, travelling the southern United States working carnivals. Paul moved to southern California to attend college to become a machinist.

After graduating, he worked at Garrett/Honeywell Aerospace in the Phoenix Valley area until his retirement in 1991 for health reasons. He was a loving care giver to his first wife Joann Crook before her passing in 1979. He later met and married Sharon Sears in 1981.

They shared 17 years together before Sharon’s health failed and she passed away in 1998. He loved to travel by RV to see the beauties of the United States, going from the North West point of Washington state to the north eastern tip of Maine, down to the southern Keys of Florida back to the west coast of California. Paul met his current wife, Annette Olson in Buckeye, AZ and they were married in 2003.

They later moved to Ft. Duchesne, Utah. He is survived by his wife Annette and three sisters: Marge, Brenda and Laurel.

Many step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wives, his parents, two brothers and one sister. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2543 East Highway 40, Ballard, Utah.
