Voorheis, Paul M. Age 72 of Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully at Chemung County Nursing Facility on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Paul was born in Montour Falls, NY to the late Keith Charles and Mary Belle (White) Voorheis; and also predeceased by his brother, Doug (June) Voorheis. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 49 years, Donna Jean Voorheis; two daughters Michele (Jeffery) Purvis and Shannon (Joel) Lederman; five grandchildren, Megan, Bowie, Jakeb, Lennon and Violet; brothers, John (Tracy) Voorheis, Charles (Carolyn) Voorheis and Tom (Nancy) Voorheis.

Paul graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1965. He proudly served his country in the Air Force from 1967-1971. He retired in 2007 from Hardinge, Inc. after 35 years of dedicated service.

He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed meeting with the Hardinge Inc. retirees for breakfast each month. He loved his family and traveling to Florida in the winter. He will be missed greatly by his beloved family and friends.
