Peggy’s Obituary Peggy A. Scott, 90, died Monday, January 28, 2019. She was born on April 30, 1928 in Little York, OH to the late Carl W. and Maude E. (Doll) Schlose. Peggy retired as bookkeeper for Wayne String Shop and had worked at Arn-Dot accounting for 8 years and David Wade Accounting for 20 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church and an active member of the former Simpson United Methodist Church as treasurer of the Defenders Sunday School Class and Dare to Care. She is a life time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. On May 16, 1953 she married Willard Scott who survives along with their daughter Michele Scott.

Also surviving is sister-in-law Irene Schlose of Tipp City, OH and Godchildren William Skaros, Natasha Berning, and Andrew Skaros along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by a son Michael Scott in 2012 and two brothers, William Schlose and Robert Schlose. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd.

with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Sunday from 2:00 ~ 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
