Warren, 82, of Sheridan, IN, formerly of Beecher City, IL, passed away May 4, 2019, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. Peggy was born Nov. 23, 1936, in Shelbyville, IL, a daughter of the late Ray and Estella (Shannon) Sparks.

Peggy’s family was always important to her, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved music, dancing, traveling, and being able to see the world. Peggy also loved her dogs and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Jamie) Mossburg of Sheridan; sons, Loren (partner, Ginger) Childress of Mattoon, IL and Robert (Kim) Warren of Oakville, WA; son-in-law, John Hockman; sister-in-law, Mary Sparks; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her daughter, Marla Hockman; son, Richard “Dick” Childress; sister, Beverly Austin; and brother, Richard Sparks. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon, has been entrusted with her arrangements for cremation.
