Obituary for Peggy Jean Talley Rider Peggy Jean Talley-Rider Talley-Rider, Peggy Jean of Washington, Missouri, was born January 12, 1950, in Blytheville, Arkansas to U.V. and Verna (nee Morton) Talley and entered into rest Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 6 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Rev. Wesley John Rider, She is survived by, Two (2) children, Wendi Jean.

Rider-Fortel and Aaron Wesley (Lesleigh) Rider two (2) grandchildren, Brock Wesley Rider and Luke Henry Fortel six (6) siblings, Jim (Brenda) Talley of Berger, Missouri, Dan (Debbie) Talley of Londell, Missouri, Glenda Sue (Joe) Ritter of Cattawissa, Missouri, Betty (Ross) Banks of St. Clair, Missouri, Nancy (Carl Luth) Talley of House Springs, Missouri and Mary Talley of Fenton, Missouri, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and Church members. Peggy was very devoted to working with the youth groups within the Missouri State Freewill Baptist Churches which she and her husband Wes attended all over the state in their lifetime together. Her hobbies and interests included traveling with her husband and spreading God’s word, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until services at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Chapel Freewill Baptist Church 588 Expansion Lane, St. Clair, Missouri. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations can be made in honor of Peggy to MO State FWB Youth Camp, 7627 State Hwy M, Niangua, MO 65713.
