Obituary for Linda Roosman Roosman, Linda of Rockford, Illinois, was born October 20, 1942 in St Louis, Missouri to the William Tex and Dorothy Florence ”Flo” (nee Sheppard) Arthur and entered into rest Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at the age of 75 years. She is preceded in death by, her parents, loving husband William J. Roosman, and two siblings, Jeannie (Henry) Meyer and William ‘Bill’ Tex (Louise) Arthur. She is survived by, Her children, Tina (James) Swonger of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John Roosman of Belvidere, Illinois and James ‘Jim’ Roosman.

Five (5) grandchildren, Steven Cooper, Adam Vigil, James Stayton, Steven Swonger, and Andrew Swonger. Two (2) siblings, Mark (Rose) Arthur and Mike (Helene) Arthur. Linda enjoyed Bingo, Her fur baby “Shadow”, Bowling, Dancing, Playing Cards and Board Games.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 7th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary 6065 Duda Rd, House Springs, Missouri 63051.
