Obituary for David Campbell Campbell, David Matthew II, of Desoto, Missouri, was born July 9, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, to David and Helen (nee McClure) Campbell and entered into rest August 23, 2018, at the age of 54. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Louie and Eleanor (nee Walker) Campbell, William R. and Martha (nee Corbin) McClure, and twin babies. He is survived by, Five (5) children, Nicole, Morgan, Brianna, Matthew, and Greg, Three (3) grandchildren, Lily, Grayson, and Kinsley, Two (2) siblings, Teresa (Ralph) Nunn and Sharon (Dale) Whittington, Dear friend Debbie Dayton, and many other family and friends.

David attended and graduated from Hillsboro High School. He went on to serve in the Navy where he spent the next four years on the U.S.S Simpson (FFG-56). David made a career later on as a Diesel Mechanic and spent his free time singing, fishing, and working on anything with an engine.

He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. with a service immediately following at 1:00pm at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the United Service Organization, the Liver Cancer Association, or any charity of choice.
