Obituary for Alice R. Stewart Stewart, Alice R., of Dittmer, Missouri, was born October 5, 1931, in Robertsville, Missouri to Arthur and Gertrude (nee Zumwalt) Helms and entered into rest Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her residence at the age of 87 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert M. Stewart, three children, Stephen (Mary Meyers) Stewart, Jeffery Stewart, and Jay Stewart, one grandchild, Latisha Dawn, five siblings, Grover Helm, Norma (Norman) Gierer, Mildred (Harry) Nunn, Arthur (Pamsy) Helm, and Jean (the late Jim) Miller, She is survived by, One child, Kimberly (the late Todd) Geger, Two grandchildren, Ashley K. Stewart and Amber L. Stewart, Two siblings, Georgia (the late Bill) Craig, and Eula (the late Bill) Laster, And many other family members and friends. Alice was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In earlier years, she volunteered at the Peace Pantry and was a Sunday school teacher at Tower Grove Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 3pm until the time of service at 5pm at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
