Obituary for Thomas Walters Walters, Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri was born March 30, 1925, in St Louis, Missouri, to Lawr and Molie (nee Strail) Walters, and entered into rest, Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Big River Nursing Home in Cedar Hill, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 19 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, the late Roland Moslander and the late Mattie Mahler, and one daughter, the late Mary E. Walters. He is survived by his wife, Martha Jane (nee Konersman) Walters.
three (3) children, Kathleen S. Walters of Clinton, Missouri, Linda J. (Tom) Radley of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Patricia M. (Scott) Morgan of Fenton, Missouri. nine (9) grandchildren, Sheri Lynn (Andrew) Kendrick, Nicholas A. (Tara) Meyer, Kyle T. Radley, Jamie Morgan, Meaghan Morgan, Tammy Payton, Sean Steadman, Julie Cox and Shelia Zielinski. several great grandchildren including, Dayton Stewart, Kaden Stewart, Chase Meyer, Carson Meyer, Sara Brown and Shana Lynn.
and many other friends and family members. Thomas will be remembered as a workaholic who enjoyed attending auctions and church chicken dinners. He also loved to play the piano and collecting piano pins.
He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran having served on the USS Cimarron. Visitation day, Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Services will be Monday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
