Obituary for Lou Brookshire Brookshire, Lou, of High Ridge, Missouri, was born October 20th, 1937, in Fayette Co., Alabama, to Lewis E. and Mamie (nee Fowler) Tidwell and entered into rest Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the age of 80 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 53 years, James L. Brookshire, and three siblings, Fred Tidwell, Luke Tidwell, and Shirley Tidwell. She is survived by, Two children, Jim (Janet) Brookshire, of High Ridge, Missouri, and Paul (Roberta) Brookshire, of St. Peters, Missouri, Eight Grandchildren, Laurie (David) Goodhart, Richard Pulcher, Jonathan Pulcher, Jarred Brookshire, Jaymes (Kirsten Cates) Brookshire, Jennifer Brookshire, Joseph Brookshire, and Alex Brookshire, Three Great Grandchildren, Natalie Goodhart, Colin Goodhart, and Christopher Pulcher, Two siblings, Princeton Tidwell, of Cottage Hills, Illinois, and Edith Mills, of St. Louis County, Missouri, And many other family members and friends.

Lou enjoyed doing word puzzles, candy, taking walks, and the occasional screwdriver. She loved spending time with her family and led a simple life. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
