Obituary for Agnes Briscoe Briscoe, Agnes of Robertsville, Missouri, was born May 25, 1923, in South Haven, Kansas to Guy and Cessna (nee Laird) Rice and entered into rest Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her house in Robertsville, Missouri at the age of 95 years, 1 month, and 10 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Bob Briscoe, her son Robert Hawk, eight (8) siblings, Chalma “Jack” (Lee) Rice, Idia May “Susie” (Pete) Rosenhoffer, Maxine (Lou) Rodgers, Royal Edward Rice, Tiney “Irene” (Leo) Johnson, Barbara (Don) Olive, Guy “Toby” (Ruby) Rice and Guy “Don” (Sandy) Rice, Jr She is survived by, One (1) daughter in law, Katherine Hawk, of St. Peters, Missouri, One (1) daughter, Linda (Robert) Gladney, of Elsberry, Missouri, Six (6) grandchildren, Katherine (David) Lewis, Janet (Greg) Rhoden, Jason (Robin) Gladney, Jordan (Erica) Gladney and Jaimi (Yancy) Burbridge, Josie (Adam) Hammers, Twenty three (23) great grandchildren, Ten (10) Great great Grandchildren, Aunt and friend to many.
Agnes was a very creative and active woman. She especially enjoyed the outdoors with activities such as gardening, fishing, and boating with her husband. When she wasn’t outside, she kept busy by quilting, canning, crafting, and having fun with her loving family and friends.
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
