Obituary for Mr. Penice Rainer Penice “Penny/Jailie” Rainer was born December 23, 1942 to the late Charlie and Henrietta “Madea” Rainer in Greensboro, Alabama. Penny exchanged time for eternity on October 4, 2018 with his family by his side. Penny came to New Jersey in the early 1960’s, were he was a long time employee of Electronics Associates, Inc., (EAI) previously located in West Long Branch, NJ as a PC Board Operator where he retired.

Penny was known for his love of his children, his grand-children and great-grandchildren as well as enjoying his spare time at the local racetracks. He is predeceased by his sister Rose Vell Rainer-Washington and daughter Shona M. Rainer-Perkins. Penny leaves to cherish memories by his wife Wilhelmina E. Rainer, two daughters: Sharon “Kim” Whitehead (Richard) and Teressa Rainer Holmes; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; Crystal Whitehead, (Adrianna & Alex), Shawna Hill (LaKai, Kyshawna and Keiona), Kevin Whitehead, Brandon Oliver (Zoey), Shawn Oliver (Alanna, Aubrie, Ava), Breona Oliver, Brittany Oliver (Hasan), Na-Jada Rainer-Holmes, Jordan Holmes (Cameron), Jamillah Rainer (Zaire, Jade, Justin and Jaden), Rickey Holmes Jr., Joseph Perkins, Kahlil Shellman, Kayla Perkins, Neshawn Perkins, Ashanti Perkins, Deante Perkins and Derek Robinson.

Three sisters: Sarah Williams (Nate), Romelia Jordan (Clinton), and Sallie Green; twelve brothers: Jimmy Rainer (Martha), Sam Rainer (Barbara), Charlie Jr. (Louise Rainer), Archie Rainer (Shelia), Lewis Rainer (Norma), Matthew Rainer (Lucy), Bobby Rainer, James Rainer, John Rainer (Janette), Ivory Rainer, Ned Rainer (Bertha), and Dock Rainer. Two loving aunts Irene Evans and Lucy Rainey. As well as a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend Beverly Williams.
