Perin Leah Rigby Stowers, 54 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday May 29, 2018 at her residence. Born in Oxford, Mississippi, Perin had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was employed at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a CT Technician for 18years , and also worked for The Longstreet Clinic/ OB-GYN as a Ultra Sound Technician for 17 years.

She was a graduate of Gainesville High School Class of 1982, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Scott Stowers, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Aransa Wood, Gainesville; grandson, Hayden Wood, Gainesville; daughter, Leah Stowers, Gainesville; parents, Dottie and The Rev. Cliff L. Rigby, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and David Caldwell, Gainesville; nephew, Jeremy Caldwell, Gainesville and nieces, Stephanie DeCruz, Tigard, Oregon; Sarah Harrison, Lula.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to pancreatic cancer research at www. pancan.org in memory of Perin.
