OBITUARY Peter M Saya June 18, 1953 – January 18, 2019 Peter Marino Saya, 65, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at his residence in Roanoke. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Peter and Jane Saya. He was a graduate of Henninger High School in Syracuse, NY.

He married Christine on November 7, 1992 in New York and she survives. He worked for GM as a process engineer for 36 years until his retirement in 2008. He also worked for EFC for 7 years.

Peter was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He was an avid Syracuse fan and enjoyed working, world travel, and cooking. Peter is survived by his daughters, Andrea (Nicky) Saya, Tonya Hochstuhl, Amanda Saya, Jessica Hochstuhl, and Alexis Saya; brother, Paul (Peg) Saya; sisters, Lynn (Don) Blakeman and Kathy Isham; grandchildren, Dominic, Adriana, Julius, Arianna, Amori, and Amirya.

He was also preceded in death by son, Peter Michael Saya II. Funeral service Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Covington Knolls with calling one hour prior to the service. Calling Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 1-7pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Covington Knolls.
