Beech Island, SC…… Elder Peter “Pete” Decelle Koger, 76, entered into rest on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the Rowland-Ford Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, officiated by Apostle Franklin Buckner of the House of Transition and Transformation. Elder Koger was an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Formerly he was a member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church and currently was a member and the Senior Elder of the House of Transition and Transformation. He routinely read his Bible straight through from Genesis to Revelation. He gave out Bibles and gospel tracks to whoever he could, and passed out thousands of tracks over his life.

He had a faithful prayer ministry for the sick and the needy. He was at home in the country and enjoyed caring for his dogs, goats, and chickens. His sense of humor was a blessing to all.

Elder Koger is survived by six cousins, John C. Hoover, Brenda G. Morris, Doris W. Parks, Gail P. Gore, Charles W. Pritchard, and Carswell E. Gay; and a good friend, Elder Vernon Mundy.
