Obituary of Peter Madrazo Peter G. Madrazo died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his home in Wurtsboro, surrounded by family. He was 76. The son of the late Felix Madrazo and Antoinette Carparelli Madrazo, he was born October 14, 1942 in Port Chester, NY.

Peter was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army from 1964-1966, and worked for Stop and Shop Supermarkets for 44 years. He enjoyed baseball, football, and watching movies. The most important thing to Pete was his four grandchildren and his great grandson.

Survivors include his wife: Barbara Dreyer Madrazo, at home; two stepdaughters: Michele Rende of Wurtsboro, and Cheryl Cleary (Patrick) of Katy, TX; four grandchildren: Chris Trowbridge, Catie Trowbridge, Kerry Cleary and Jack Cleary; a great grandson: Christopher Trowbridge; two brothers: Charles Madrazo (Karen) of Sanford, FL and Felix Madrazo of Harrison, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to gather on Friday, January 25 from 3:00 to 6:00pm and on Saturday, January 26 from 10:00 to 11:00am at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11am at the funeral home.

Burial with military honors will follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Wurtsboro. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties www. hospiceoforange.com or to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
