Obituary Philip “Skip” D. McClain, age 75 of Fort Loudon, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Chambersburg. He was born November 9, 1943 in Allenport, PA, the son of the late Philip Louis McClain and Erma Isabelle (Snyder) McClain. Philip graduated from Captain Jack Mt.

Union High School in 1961. “Skip” served as an engineer for 3 years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After his retirement, “Skip” worked for Hoffman Mills as an electrical engineer for 9 years.
