Philip (Pete) G. Demmit passed away January 18, 2019 in San Pedro. Pete was born January 30, 1927 in Azusa CA. He was the youngest of 10 children.

He worked as Assistant Manager for S.H. Kress in San Pedro for over 40 years. After retirement he volunteered at Fort MacArthur Museum for almost 20 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Cheyenne in 2014.

He is survived by his children Gorrdon, Gayland, Grand and Heather; sister-in-law Kathleen Weidner, as well as many nieces and nephews.
