Philip Samuel Bacon, age 51 of Morristown, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2019. He was saved and joined Yellow Branch Baptist Church in 2011. He was a talented softball, basketball and volleyball player.

He was also an avid golfer who enjoyed his time on the golf course tremendously. He also was a very dedicated Duke Blue Devils and Tennessee Vols fan. Above all his biggest passion was always watching and spending time with his baby girl Addison.

He also cherished the time he spent with his other daughter Emily Cobble and grandson Asher. He is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Jeanette Deering Mutter, infant sister, Harriett Jean, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Marie Deering, paternal grandparents, Minnis and Chlora Bacon and step-sister Donna House. He is survived by his loving father, Harry Bacon who also served as his caretaker for the last 3 years; special big brother, Jeff Bacon whom he loved dearly, beloved step-brother, Danny Holbert, daughters, Emily Cobble and Addison Bacon, grandson, Asher, mothers to his children, Kristi Fox, mother of Emily and Rebecca Bacon, mother of Addison, who also shared responsibility of his care and remained Philips true love through out the last 22 years, special cousins, Todd and Travis Webb and a host of family and friends who cherished him dearly.

A special Thank You to Dr. Ramanujan Samavedy, Dr. Christopher Stephens, Dr. Keith Gray and Avalon Hospice, Alyson Brewer, Jessica Johnson, Sasha Valentine, Pam Conner and Carolyn Patrick for helping us through this most difficult time and taking such great care of Phillip and for making him feel so loved and cared for. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 4 at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine from 5-8:00pm with funeral service to follow, the Rev. Travis Webb and Rev.

Buster Jarvis will be officiating. Graveside Interment will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, 1:00pm at Yellow Branch Cemetery in Sneedville. Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Woods, B.J.
