Obituary for Philip Cole Sr. Philip Cole, Sr., 81, a lifelong area resident, died on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT. Born on July 20, 1937 in Sharon, CT, he was the son of the late Edgar and Helen (Keeler) Cole. A graduate of Millbrook High School in Millbrook, NY, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1963.

Mr. Cole worked in construction for Marco Boscardin for 15 years and for 20 years as a therapy aide at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY and Wassaic Developmental Center in Wassaic, NY retiring in 1998. Mr. Cole is survived by his daughter, Lori Mackay of Dover Plains and his son, Philip Cole, Jr. of New Milford, CT; a brother, David Cole of Salt Point, NY; five grandchildren, Brian Mackay, Amanda Mackay, Arianna Irish, Katelin Cole and Joseph Cole and five great grandchildren, Aleighana, Kelleighann, Elizabeth, Braydon and Elayna. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Betty Burckes.
