Obituary for Phyllis E. Taylor Phyllis E. Taylor, 87, longtime resident of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Parkway Pavilion. She was born on February 3, 1931 in Maine, the daughter of the late Linwood and Helen (Cleaves) Taylor. She attended the Calvary Presbyterian Church for many years.
Phyllis is survived by a brother, Philip Taylor and his wife Josie of Hemet, CA; a sister, Mary J. Taylor of Enfield, CT; nieces and nephews, Pamela Mills and her husband Michael of Enfield, CT, and Penni Romano and her husband Angelo of Rocky Hill, CT, Joseph Menard and his wife Lynne of Granby, CT and James Menard and his wife Cindy of Enfield, CT, and Brook Taylor of CA, Jay Taylor of TX, and Terri Green of CA; and her great nieces and nephews, Matthew Mills, John and Nicole Romano, and Kiriki, Cierra, Mackenzie, Becca, and Gabriel Menard. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by a brother, Bertram Taylor and a sister, Marguerite Menard. The family would like to thank the staff of Parkway Pavilion for the excellent care and kindness shown to her throughout her stay.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Burial will follow at Enfield Street Cemetery. Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Building Fund, 1518 King St, Enfield, CT 06082 or to the Recreation Department at Parkway Pavilion, 1157 Enfield St, Enfield, CT 06082.
