Obituary for Pierre Lee Nantell Pierre Lee Nantell was born on 30 Sept. 1976 in Corby Northants, England. Weighing in at 7lb.
8oz. 19” Long, at 3:00am to Sally Nantell (UK citizen) and Pierre Yvon Nantell (Canadian Born Citizen) stationed in England with the Unites States Air Force. During his 42 yrs.
of age, he had touched countless lives on an international level reaching US coast to coast, England, Australia and where ever his US Army duties led him. He shared his love freely with his creative thinking and his wonderfully cheerful and exuberant spirit. He was adventurous and creative with a willingness to take new life experiences head on with an incredible ability and a “Can Do” attitude.
Pierre was also a brave soul who served his country as an US Army Infantry Soldier during his tour in the War in Iraq to defend Americas Security and the Freedom of its people who couldn’t fend for themselves. He fought among the ranks willing to make the sacrifice many would shudder to accept all while defending those with whom he served as we all knew, as a soldier, we need to have each others six at ALL times. During his exposure to the atrocities of war, he returned a broken man as he suffered from PTSD from the past military exposure to the hostility of a ruthless enemy.
This made him need to re-invent himself which resulted in morphing into a most brilliant Graphic Artist for whom he was respected for his outstanding abilities in his field. Occasionally taking sabbaticals like deciding to hike the approximately 2180+ miles of the Appalachian Trail where without physical preparedness, withstood every mile of rough, desolate and dangerous terrain head on with a confidence met by few. An animal lover full of adventure, he was intimated by nothing and tackled all as a challenge if he felt so inclined.
As a gifted Graphic Designer, he contributed to book cover designing of whom Mr. Reed Bunzel (the Author) respected Pierre for his impressive designs. As did the company “Low Country Wraps” in Charleston also had the utmost respect for him as an artist and one who thrived to obtain perfection in all his designs. He thrived on perfection and pride of workmanship.
During everything he lived for was to share his sense of humor, pranks and just his general contagious smile and ability to light up any room with joy, Pierre was there. He is survived by my wife Sally, myself Pierre Y, his brothers Justin and Trevor, his wife Jenny and her Parents, Mr. & Mrs. Reed Bunzel among his immediate list as to mention all who love and miss him would become a book in itself. The world not only lost a beautiful Soul with a Golden Heart, he has also lest the “Gift of Life” (5 lives saved as of this print), by donating his organs to allow those awaiting an Angelic contribution so that they may continue their own journeys through life.
