Obituary for Priscilla Cole Alexander Mueller Priscilla Cole Alexander Mueller Obituary 1924 -2018 Priscilla Cole Alexander Mueller passed away on APRIL 30, 2018. Priscilla was born on January 19, 1924 in Brooklyn New York to Dorothea Witte Cole and Fred Tripler Cole. She spent her early years in Mt.

Vernon, New York and then moved to Scarsdale, NY where she graduated from Scarsdale High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Denison University in Granville, OH in 1945 and began her career in human res at Scandinavian Airlines and Maude Lennox at Rockefeller Center in New York City. In 1948 Priscilla took a bicycle trip across Canada and down into the northern United States with about 20 of her friends which started her lifelong interest in travel.

On November 5, 1955 she married John W. “Jack” Alexander and moved to Philadelphia, PA where she worked at Atlantic Richfield Companies. Her two children, Peter and Carol, were born in Bryn Mawr, PA and the family subsequently lived in Baltimore, Maryland and Haddonfield and Stratford, New Jersey. She and Jack were active members of the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Laurel Springs, NJ for many years.

Jack passed away in 1990 of congestive heart failure at the age of 65. Over the years Priscilla attended over 40 Elderhostels across the country and enjoyed adventures everywhere from Canada to Texas and California to Maine. She loved learning and meeting others who were interested in history and travel.

Priscilla moved to John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, MO in 2004 when she turned 80 years old. She found love again at 85 years of age with Robert Mueller and they were married in June 2009. Robert passed away in 2013 but they had 4 extremely happy years together.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her older sister, Doris Cole Krantz and her two husbands, John W. Alexander and Robert C. Mueller. She is survived by her son, Peter David Alexander, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho and his daughter, Carol Alexander Hancock (Mike) and granddaughter, Hallie Hancock, of Rochester, MN.
