OBITUARY Rachel A Cavazos August 1, 1935 – January 9, 2019 Our beloved mother, Rachel Aguilar Cavazos age 83, passed away in her sleep on January 9, 2019. A visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Grace Assembly of God , 4101 Harrison St., Kansas City, MO 64110, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Following the service burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Rachel was born on August 1, 1935 in Matamoros Tamp.

Mexico. At the age of 17, she married her groom, Josias Cavazos Sr They celebrated 66 years of marriage on December 28, 2018.

Rachel is preceded in death by her oldest son, Josias Cavazos Jr She leaves behind her husband, Josias Cavazos Sr; daughter, Stella Cavazos; her sons, David & Joshua Cavazos; and a grandson she helped raised, Oscar Ochoa. Rachel also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She left a brother, Raymond Aguilar of Detroit, Michigan and a sister, Juanita Hernandez of Brownsville, Texas, and also several nieces and nephews.
