Obituary for Ragna Campbell Ragna Paulgaard Campbell, born November 8, 1923 in Provost, Alberta, Canada passed away peacefully December 9 at age 95 Proceeded in death by her parents … Raghnild Ramberg Paulgaard and Herman Larson Paulgaard Siblings …proceeded in death Clara, Herman, Lars, Ole H, Gladys Paulgaard Peterson Schwieren Survived by nieces and nephews . . Gaylia Paulgaard Scammell, Bee Peterson Reagan, (Herb Ringel);Dwayne Peterson, (Judy) Roger Paulgaard, ( Shirley) Lynn Ann Paulgaard Claaussen, (Hannis) Larry Paulgaard (deceased) She started her life as a telephone operator in Provost, worked in Edmonton, Alberta and then moved to San Diego, California where she lived close to Gladys and family.
She worked at Food Basket Food stores for many years in the office doing accounting. She was really active in the shows at the theaters in San Diego, doing ushering and other volunteer jobs for the theaters and arts of the area. She loved to dance and in her younger years had taken voice lessons and loved to sing.
She was married to Woody Campbell in San Diego’s until he passed away at a young age of 49 from a heart attack. She loved to travel and had been many different places around the world. We all loved to hear her stories of where she had been and always told us … travel all you can!
! Her favorite saying was . She has traveled the world but has come home to rest!
! There will be no memorial services (at her request) but we ALL have lots of memories in our hearts. She will be buried in the family cemetery in Provost, Alberta.
