Ralph M. Baker 87 of Hillsboro IL passed away Dec. 30, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. He was born July 21, 1931 in Lakeview Colorado to Hubert and Alma (Brown) Baker.

He graduated from High School in Colorado. He was a 30 year coal miner and 20 year farmer. He was a member of the first United Pentecostal Church in Schram City where he was the Sunday school bus driver.

He married Dorothy Rhodes in 1988. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, children June Benard of Moore OK, Judy Johnson of Little Rock AR, Walter Baker of Bakersfield CA. , Ralph Baker of Bakersfield CA, Randy Baker of Bakersfield CA.

, step children Tex Pilley of Syracuse KS, Clifford Williams of Garden City KS, Virgil Easley of Kincaid , David Easley of Hillsboro Bertha Elwood of Witt and Mary Wade of Hillsboro and numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, siblings Gene Molott, Toni Essar, Ted Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Howard and Harold Baker, Doris Molott, Lucille Lynn and Carol Baker. Funeral services will be Thursday Jan 3, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro in Hillsboro with Rev.

Jerry E. Woods officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at 11:00 AM until service time at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Oconee Mound Cemetery.
