OBITUARY Ralph Dewey Wisenburg June 12, 1917 – October 23, 2018 Ralph Dewey Wisenburg, 101, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Ralph was born in Coshocton on June 12, 1917 to the late Ralph William and Lucille Pauline (Jones) Wisenburg. After graduating high school, Ralph obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana Institute of Technology.

He went on to work as a chemical engineer for Edmont for almost 45 years until his retirement. Ralph was long-time member of Trinity Episcopal Church where he was a member of the Vestry and a Senior Warden. He was also a member of the Montgomery Foundation board, the Friends of the Park board, the Coshocton City Planning Commission, the Masonic Lodge of Coshocton, and the Coshocton Elks Lodge.

He also served as Museum President and Secretary for Friends of the Library, Chairman of Investment Committee for the Coshocton Foundation, President for the Coshocton Hospice Board, and was a Past President of the Kiwanis Club. Ralph was passionate about his hobbies, which included woodworking, reading, golfing, and tennis. Ralph is survived by his children, Mark (Barbara) Wisenburg and Teresa “Terry” Gross, five grandchildren: Todd Allen (Pam) Dilley, Dana Scott (Heather) Gaudet, Mark Gaudet, Tracy Wisenburg, and Robin Wisenburg; 4 great-grandchildren: Alexa, Joshua, Adilynn, and Emerson Gaudet.

Along with his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Miller, and two wives, Betty (Roberts) Wisenburg and Judy (Pierce) Wisenburg. Per Ralph’s wishes, a cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Kathryn Clausen officiating. There will be a reception at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, Ralph wished memorial contributions to be made to Community Hospice at 716 Commercial Ave. SW New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or to Trinity Episcopal Church at 705 Main St. Coshocton, OH 43812. An online memorial can be viewed at www.
