Obituary for Ralph Herring Mr. Ralph E. Herring, age 78 of 5563 Elberton Highway, Hartwell, Ga. , husband of Barbara Ann Adams Herring went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 28, 1940, in Hart County, Georgia, to the late William Parker Herring and Amy Foster Herring.

He was a retired welder with Chicago Bridge and Iron and was a former self-employed motel owner. He was a US Marine having served from 1958-1962; and was a member of Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife, children: Parker (Teresa) Herring and Jimmy Herring of Hartwell; grandchildren: Amanda (Bo) Rutherford, Adam (Kayla) Herring, Matt (Jessica) Herring, David Herring, great grandchildren: Avery (Caleb) Sewell, Ethan Spagnoli, Knox Poole, Wakely Rutherford.

Maelee Herring, and Easton Ricks, great-great-grandchild, Parker Lily Sewell. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister: Helen Milford. A memorial services celebrating the life of Mr. Herring will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm, in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors of Hartwell.

Rev. Eddie Adams will officiate; with a few friends and family also speaking. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the service time.

The family has requested the in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Affinis Hospice, Community Health Foundation P.O. Box 1833, Macon, GA 31202, Hart County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1062, Hartwell, Ga. 30643 of Hart County Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 45, Hartwell, Ga. 30643.

The family will be at the home. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Herring family. Online condolences may be left by visiting www.
