Obituary for Ralph Foster Dodd Ralph F. Dodd, 91, of Powell, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 28th at the Kobacker House with his loving family by his side. Ralph was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 70 years, Milly and 4 daughters Suzy and husband Glenn; Debbie and husband Tim; Beth and husband Will; and Peggy Lyn.

He leaves 11 adored grandchildren, and their special dog Charlie. Ralph, the youngest of seven children, was born in Paris Crossing, Indiana to Cora and Eldo Dodd. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He briefly worked with his father at the Dodd Funeral Home in Paris Crossing. He graduated from Hanover College in 1951. He taught school and had other jobs before signing on with American Electric Power.

His 40-year career with AEP took him and his family from Madison Indiana, to Verona, New Jersey, and to Powell Ohio. He made many lifelong friends along the way. During retirement Ralph and Milly spent many happy winters enjoying fun and sun with their treasured friends in Florida.

Ralph was adventurous and fun-loving. His sense of humor was legendary. He will most be remembered for his generosity, kindness, compassion and love for his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Monday December 31 at the Rutherford Funeral Home on 450 West Olentangy Street Powell Ohio. Visitation is from 9 AM to 11AM. The service is at 11:00 at the funeral home.

Burial is to follow at 1PM at Cheshire Cemetery in Delaware Ohio.
