Randall Joseph “Bud” McQueen, 81 of Gainesville passed away Monday January 7, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. McQueen was the son of the late Julius and Gladys Humphries McQueen. He was retired from Cagle’s Poultry Company where he worked as a supervisor.

Mr. McQueen served in the United States Army and was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Philip and Susan McQueen; grandchildren, Logan McQueen (Amber Garrett) and Noah McQueen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathaniel and Lillian McQueen; Haskell and Marie McQueen; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Earl Holman; 20 nieces and nephews also survive and a special neighbor, Eulene Hollifield, all of Gainesville.

Mr. McQueen is preceded in death by his wife, Vera McQueen. The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and the nurse’s and staff of the 5th floor South Tower for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Riverbend Baptist Church.

Rev. Philip McQueen, Rev. Joe Payton, Rev.

Kevin Holman, and Kenny Davidson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Maxey Ladd officiating.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Tuesday January 8 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, but those desiring may make memorial contributions to Mavuno Ministries, P.O. Box 3421, Gainesville, Ga. 30503.
