OBITUARY Randolph P. Landry December 13, 1957 – October 26, 2018 Randolph P. Landry, age 60, of Sorrento, LA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 7:47 p.m. He was born December 13, 1957 to Norbert (Jr. ) and Theresa M. Landry of Belle Rose. He grew up there on his family’s farm, and graduated from Assumption High School in 1976.

He married his loving wife, Kitty, on March 22, 1980. Then moved to Sorrento where they began and raised their family. Randolph was a committed and valued employee of Entergy (LP&L) for the last 40 years.

He recently retired, from the Reserve branch in May of this year. For the last 4 years, he has been a part-time employee of The Town of Sorrento, which he continued even after retirement. Randolph has always enjoyed driving tractors.

One of his favorite past times was teasing and joking with those he loved, especially his children and grandchildren; it brought him great joy. Randolph was a Lifetime member of the Louisiana Fireman’s Assoc. and a 37 year member of the Sorrento Volunteer Fire Dept.

The annual Trail Ride was something he looked forward to for many years, and always made lots of great memories with family and friends. He is survived by, his {still} loving and patient wife, Kitty; son, Cody (Chastity); daughter, Aspen (Joshua); son, Jordan. Randolph is also survived by his four beautiful Grandchildren; Morgan, Hayden, Gracelynn, and Annie; his siblings Dianne Cross, Randy Landry, Lisa Landry, Donna Nelson, Mary Jane (Jeanie) Haynes, Bernice Landry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Theresa; sister, Linda Landry; his brother, Lonnie Landry; siblings Nancy & Danny Landry (at birth; also his niece, Tiffany Landry; God-child, Katie Richardson. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church of Sorrento. Visitation will be held at St. Anne starting at 9:00 am and will continue until services begin at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Church Mausoleum. The family would like thank all the responding volunteers from S.V.F.D. for their dedication, love, and support.
