OBITUARY Randolph William Wright September 27, 1936 – January 29, 2019 Randolph William Wright, 82, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Oak Grove Manor Assisted Living. He was born September 27, 1936 in Goshen, a son of the late Burrell and Blanche (Campbell) Wright. Mr. Wright retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service as Chief Warrant Officer 4.

Following his retirement, he continued to serve as an environmental inspector for the Shenandoah County Health Department. He attended Central Baptist Church in Waynesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Yoshiko Wright on September 18, 2009; siblings, Robert Wright, Russell Wright, Carrington Wright, Linwood Wright, Thomas “Wilbert” Wright, Edmond Wright and Naomi Gregory.

Survivors include a son, Joshua Wright of Waynesboro; daughters, Gina Shifflett and husband, Terah of Maryland and Jennifer Staley and husband, Randy of Maryland; grandchildren, Jacob Wright, Rebecca Wright, Stephanie Delaney, Christopher Delaney and Gracen Staley; great grandchildren, Lucas Larson and Landon Larson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., with Pastor Timothy Hall. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park with military honors.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Delaney, Terah Shifflett, Paul Wright, Benny Gregory, Larry Wright, Terry Wright and Brett Wright. Relatives and friends may share condolences and memories with the family online by visiting www.
