OBITUARY Ray C. Ritchey October 10, 1948 – October 13, 2018 Ray C. Ritchey October 10, 1948 – October 13, 2018 “To all my friends and family who have blessed me with their support, I am most grateful”. Ray Ritchey Ray enjoyed a lifetime of love with his high school sweetheart, Ginger Ruth, their four children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ray was a proud Kansas City Blues Rugby Football player and member of the Hall of Fame 2008.

He devoted more than 20 years coaching athletes in Raytown Little League, AAU, and parochial leagues. Friendships were made with fellow and rival coaches that lasted a lifetime. Memories were relived and stories grew during many Friday breakfasts.

Ray recently celebrated his 70th birthday this week watching his granddaughter, Amanda Kay Hull, play Rugby for the Kansas City Jazz. Ray had really hoped to live to Election Day, Nov 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers, cast your vote for Josh Hawley.

Ray would be most appreciative. If desired, memorial gifts can be made for Ray’s grandson’s tuition. Ray C. Ritchey V, Rockhurst High School 9301 State Line Road KC, Mo 64114.
