OBITUARY Eugene B. Donegan November 27, 1928 – October 13, 2018 Eugene B. Donegan, 89, Kansas City, MO, passed away October 13, 2018 at his home. A visitation is from 10:00 – 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 17th, Rosary prayed at 11:00 AM, Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to St. Gabriel Parish.

Eugene was born November 27, 1928 to Joseph J. and Jane Donegan in Kansas City, KS. He attended De la Salle High School. Eugene was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany.

He was a tool and die maker at Donegan Optical. Eugene was an avid trumpet player and loved to watch his Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter, June Baldwin; parents, Joe and Jane; brothers, Joe, Jr., Bill, Bob, and Paul; and two sisters, Rosemary and Regina.

Survivors include his children, Jeanne Smith, Kathy Messina, Kevin Donegan, Nancy Morris, Terry Walters, Regina Messina, Bridget Giebler, and Ellen Rastorfer; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and a brother, Daniel Donegan.
