Ray Cooper, 77, of Kuttawa, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1941 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Ray Cooper, Sr. and Elfie Bratcher Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a retired coal miner.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly McKinney Cooper and three siblings, Carmen Wilkerson, Loretta Alvarez, and Lindon Cooper. Survivors include Charles (Leah) Cooper of Henderson, Victoria (Joel) Saldana of Maryville, Tennessee, and Anthony Cooper of Kuttawa; five grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, David Perez, Cain Cooper, Norma Aguilar, and Betsy Saldana; six great- grandchildren and two siblings, Tonita Embry and Rita Brooks. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.

Friends may visit with Mr. Cooper’s family from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www. danksfuneralhome.com.
