Obituary for Raymond Carl McBride Raymond Carl McBride of Coleman, OK passed away July 26, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born on April 27, 1933 to James Albert McBride and Sarah Leona Duke. Raymond attended Coleman schools and worked as a machinist, electronic tech, and built aircrafts.

He married Frankie Maxine Watson on December 26, 1954 in Tishomingo, OK. They spent 58 years together until Frankie’s passing in 2013. After living in Ft.

Worth Raymond and his family moved to Bryan County in 1974. He served our country in the United States Air Force where he also received his GED. Raymond was a member of Cobb Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time watching the deer and hummingbirds.

He also loved to eat anything chocolate but, spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest treasure. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Barbara Troxtell, and son Gregory McBride. Survivors include his sons, Carl McBride of Dallas, TX and Gary McBride and wife Marsha of Durant, OK; daughter, Jennifer McBride and husband Michael Johnson of Coleman, OK; sister, Jewel Dewberry of Durant, OK; brothers Oscar McBride and wife Mae of Durant, OK, Gerald McBride and wife Tinsy of Denison, TX, Earl McBride and wife Patsy of AL; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren along with other extended family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant with Bruce McLaughlin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brown’s Funeral Service to assist with funeral expenses.
