Obituary for Raymond “Don” Donald Allen Marlow: Raymond Donald Allen, departed this life on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Duncan at the age of 81. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Joe Ligon officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery with Miliary Honors performed by the Stephens County Honor Guard.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Don was born Tuesday, January 26, 1937 in Ringgold, Texas, to George and Minnie Josephine (Thompson) Allen. He attended school at Ringgold and Munday Texas.

He graduated from Duncan High School and went into the Army. Don worked for AMSCO-Steris for more then 37 years before retiring. He married his lovely wife Barbara Russell on April 9, 1960 in Midland, Texas and had 58 wonderful years together.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing and tennis with his son. He loved the OKC Thunder and tinkering with things on his workbench in the garage. Don was passionate about his yard and garden as well as his family.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Don was a loving man that will be missed dearly. Survivors include, wife, Barbara Allen of the home, a son, Gary Don Allen and wife Angela of Salado, TX and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, George Allen, Jr., Billie Allen, A.J. Allen, and a sister, Helen Shadden. Online condolences may be made to www.
