Raymond Goodwin December 06, 1937 – March 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Raymond Goodwin, age 81, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born December 6, 1937 in Roundhill, KY to the late Berdie and Dona Woosley Goodwin. His wife, Betsy Goodwin; son, Ray Davis; twin brother, Ralph Goodwin; brother, Veldon Goodwin; and mother-in-law, Louise Trent also preceded him in death.

Raymond was a member of Glad Tidings Christian Center in Brandenburg. He also liked to work on and restore old cars with his brother, Ralph, and brother-in-law, Tim Bennett. He is survived by his children: Scott (Amanda) Goodwin of Brandenburg, Lana (KP) Pridemore of Jeremiah, KY, and Jeanine Davis of Brandenburg; special niece, Donna Sanders; two sisters: Reitta Heath of Chenoa, IL and Jenny Lou Penley of Roundhill, KY; and eight grandchildren: Brooke Garner, April Pridemore, Amber Pridemore, Michael Davis, Desirae Davis, Jewely Goodwin, Nicholas Goodwin, and Alexis Goodwin.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12:00 PM EST from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY with burial to follow in Marve-Bennett Cemetery in Battletown, KY. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM EST at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home and Wednesday after 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
