Obituary for Mr. Raymond Hugh Hood Mr. Raymond Hugh Hood, 77 of Lanett, AL went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home. Mr. Hood is survived by his wife of 59 years, Geraldine Edwards Hood; his daughters, Cindy Hood, Gerrie (Denny) Cole, Susan (Jeff) Smallwood; seven grandchildren, Blair Hall, Dusty Cole, Cassie Cole, Steven Smallwood, Russell Smallwood, Tinsley Forbus, Spencer Hood, eight great-grandchildren, Kyler Hall, Brooke Hall, Blakelee Forbus, Beau Forbus, Zeniyah Hood, Kyler Ogle, Clate Ogle, & Ariea Canady; sister, Lillian Walden; brothers, Cecil Hood & Wayne (Saundra) Hood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Irene Hood and his sisters, Sue McCain & Lurline Hamby and his brother, Billy Hood.

He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who made him smile. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt and was an avid Alabama football fan. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 10:30 AM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Smallwood officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett. Please visit www.
