Raymond Ignatius Vrablic, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 20, 2018 surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Highlandtown, MD on February 17, 1933 and was a son of the late Joseph and Helen Osusky Vrablic. He served with the Merchant Marines during the Korean War.

Mr. Vrablic was an iron worker for Local 16 for 30 years and was an avid boat builder and waterman. He was a member of St. Mary Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Kay Greenwood Scott Vrablic, children Danise Kelly, Thomas Vrablic, Sonja Brown, step daughter April Adams, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a sister Mildred Carlini.

Besides his parents, Mr. Vrablic is preceded in death by a son Raymond “Duke” Theodore Vrablic II, sisters Helen, Agnes, and Bernice and brothers Joseph, Edward, Frank and Andy. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
