Raymond Leon Collins, Sr., of Anthony Florida died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Legacy House, Ocala FL. Raymond was born August 31, 1937 in Chester Pa to Lawrence & Phoebe Collins. He moved to Anthony, FL in 1965 from Chestertown, MD.

Raymond was a farm maintenance worker for many years prior to retiring in 1999. He was predeceased by his parents , daughter Patti , brothers Lawrence , Charlie Freddie and one sister, Violet . He is survived by his son Raymond Jr. (Rita) of Anthony , daughter Rebecca Ray (Dean) of Ft.

McCoy , sisters Lovinia McNatt of Smyrna, Delaware , Phebe Wallace (Wayne) of Clayton , Delaware, Dorothy Jenkins of Ocala, Margaret Shearouse (Roy) of Anthony and June Johnson of Ft. McCoy. Eight grandchildren , six great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Gaj officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
