Obituary of Raymond Gapinski Raymond R. Gapinski, 70, of Livingston, NY passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. Born in Chicago, IL on November 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and the late Mildred Lillie Gapinski. He had been a local resident for over 40 years.

Raymond attended Northeastern Illinois University, earning his BA in computer science. He also served in the US Navy and was a retired lieutenant. He had worked for IBM in Poughkeepsie as an Internet Architect.

Raymond was a lifetime member of the American Legion #1302. He enjoyed bowling, playing guitar and was a talented marksman. Raymond is survived by his children; Rebecca Rose (Shaun Hoag) of LaGrange, NY and Tracey Cousar (Dujuan) of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Also surviving are his grandchildren; MacKenzie Archer, Payton Rose, Lucas Hoag and Caelan and Aiden Cousar. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. There will be a Military Memorial during visitation which will be held at 11:30am.
