Obituary of Raymond Burton Medford – Raymond Burton, 80, husband of Georgia C. (Vantassell) Burton, passed away peacefully December 22, 2018, at his home. He was born November 20, 1938, in Oakfield, the son of Harold and Vera (Rockwell) Burton. Ray worked as a roofer for 47 years.

In addition to his loving wife, Georgia, Ray is survived by his daughter, Melanie Libby and her husband, Jeffrey of Guilford; two grandchildren, Tayler and Miranda Pomerleau; and three sisters, Eloise Hathorn of Milo, Joanette Towne of Bangor, and Eleanor Perry of Massachusetts. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held 11AM Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the United Baptist Church, 8 Pleasant Street, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
