Obituary for Rebecca Corbett CORBETT, Rebecca Beard Hudson, 79, went to God on Saturday, October 6, 2018 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Beard; her late husband, Harry “Buddy” Corbett Jr.; and sister, Sarah Strickland. She is survived by her loving sons, Anthony and John Hudson (Diane), and David Corbett; grandchildren, Allyson Linton (Daniel), Brittany Colyer (Ricky), Abigail Hudson, John Anthony Hudson (Samantha), Jim, Jared, and Cameron Hudson; great grandchildren, Nicolas and Hunter Colyer, Brooklyn and Audrey Rose Hudson coming December 26th; brothers, Jim Beard (Jo) and Bobby Beard; sisters, Carrie Dillingham (Donald) and Peggy Nix (Eddie); many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Rebecca was all about friends and family. She will be remembered for always sending cards to everyone. Her family would like to thank neighbor Bill Montgomery, the doctors and nurses at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, all of her wonderful friends and family who called, sent cards, and showed love during her long bout of cancer.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday with funeral service held at noon after visitation at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive.
