OBITUARY Emanuel Tolakis November 6, 1922 – October 2, 2018 Emanuel T. “Manny” Tolakis, 95 of Louisville, passed away at home Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of WWII. The owner of the Old National Hatters for 20 years and Vice President of Disney Tire Co for 42 years until his retirement.

A life member of Sunset #915 FAM Masonic Lounge, a member of Kosair Shrine, the Scottish Rite, and A Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife of 74 years Thelma Disney Tolakis; his daughters Laura L. Tolakis and Dana Tolakis German; a granddaughter Ariann Tolakis German; and his beloved granddogs Dolly Girl and Susie. A member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and Immanuel United Church of Christ, Emmanuel will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband and father.

Memorial contributions are asked to be made to the Kentucky Humane Society 241 Steedly Dr. Louisville, KY 40214.
