Obituary for Rebecca Marie Babyak Rebecca Marie Babyak, 65 of Cape May County, NJ formerly of Burgettstown, died Monday, April 16, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born March 16, 1953 in Slovan, a daughter of Evelyn “Rusty” McMullen Babyak of Stony Brook, NY and the late Stephen Babyak, Jr Ms. Babyak was an educator and administrator for the New Jersey Education System.

A lover of animals, she rescued many cats and dogs, taking them in as her own pets. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving in addition to her mother are her sisters, Michelle Fay Babyak of Sledell, Louisiana, and Margaret Kaferlein of Largo, FL, her brother, Stephen Babyak of Hauppauge, NY, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her father, is her brother Andrew Babyak. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday April 23, 2018 in the Taucher Chapel of Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 23 with the Rev. Bob Staszewski officiating.
