Regina “Jeanie” Kihm, 63, of Girard, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Hospice House in Poland. Jeanie was born October 15, 1954, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of William and Beulah (Reiner) Reed. She had previously worked for Weatherby Coates, in Youngstown, and Brentwood Originals, as a seamstress, for the past 27 years.

Jeanie was past president for the steelworkers union. Jeanie loved taking trips to Las Vegas with her husband, going to casino’s, and playing bingo. Jeanie was an excellent cook, and enjoyed watching Food Network.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, of 45 years, Kenneth J. Kihm, whom she married July 14, 1973, her sons, John W. (Breena) Kihm of Liberty, and Jay J. Kihm of Austintown, brother, William Reed of Warren, and a granddaughter Brylee. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant sister, Pamela J. Reed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, at 12:00 PM with visitation an hour prior to the service, at Blackstone Funeral Home.

The family will also receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 25th,from 5:00-7:00 PM. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512. Visit www.
